Covid in the Classroom? Some Schools Are Keeping It Quiet
I live here, have grandchildren that go to schools in Camden County. They are not actually in school, but taking the virtual course offered.

Still, they have friends who are actually going to school. I find it hard to believe that no one I know has heard about whole classes being quarantined.

I don't know the woman quoted in the article, but was able to find her Facebook page. She has quite a few posts about virtual classes.

I'm not sure what to think. It is from the New York Times. Smear campaign against Kemp's mandate against mandatory mask?

"Such is the fear in Camden County, where in recent weeks the 40-bed hospital in St. Marys, the county seat, had to divert ambulances elsewhere because of a crush of coronavirus patients.

Kiisa Kennedy let her 11th-grade son attend classes because the district was not providing certain advanced courses to remote learners, or letting them play sports.

Although the district offered a choice between remote learning and in-person instruction, some families said they felt pressure to return when school started this month. Kiisa Kennedy, whose two children go to Camden County High School, said she agreed to let her 11th-grade son, a football player, attend classes because the district was not providing certain advanced courses to remote learners or letting them participate in sports.

Like other parents, she said she had heard of at least nine positive cases in the schools and entire classes that had to be quarantined, but the district refused to answer questions.

“They’ve been very hush-hush,” she said. “We as parents cannot make informed decisions because they’re withholding the information.”

The school district did not respond to several requests for comment.

Ginger Heidel, a spokeswoman for the Coastal Health District, the agency that covers several coastal counties in Georgia including Camden, declined to answer questions about virus cases in schools, citing privacy laws. She said schools were only required to alert people who have been in close contact with someone who had tested positive, but were allowed to notify the community “if they want.”

Last week, the Camden County school district reversed course on its mask-optional policy, announcing that they would now be required on school grounds. But the announcement came with no information about cases linked to schools."

"As Georgia Governor Brian Kemp renews his efforts to keep localities from issuing mask mandates, a White House report that has not been made public "strongly" recommends a statewide mask mandate. "

Hopefully teachers won’t freak out about every little sneeze and cough or there goes school.

There is zero to be afraid of with Covid. There is 100% to be afraid of, from the school staff.

They changed up the boogeyman. It use to be no children had anything to fear, and now it's played as we should be fearful for the children as we approach school season.

Have you read the arm length requirements that need to be jumped through, should a kid be shunned with Covid? To return is a pain in the azz. This will be a guaranteed false flag.

It's best to opt out of that lunacy.

I've never heard about that!wtf I'll have to look that up. We wanted the kids at home at least until after the election. Who know what could happen in the meantime.

Yes ma'am.

They change up the boogeymen.

What use to be a two week lockdown to slow the spread, an extension of emergency powers, to further lockdowns, to please wear a mask, to you must wear a mask, to adults have to worry but kids do not, to now, kids have to worry with school, etc. They keep moving the goal posts - and they don't intend to stop.

That said, without resistance, they will keep people under lockdown and mask so long as you allow them.

Was 1 month under lockdown and mask ok? What about 12 months? What about 3 years? What about 10 years? At what point, does it no longer make sense? If this wasn't the hill to die upon, will it be after vaccines are mandated, and if you don't have this mark, no employment, no travel, no anything unless you are "part of the crowd"?

CDC has already stated, this "virus" has a 99.74% survival rate. You would more like perish falling in your bathtube from slipping, than from Covid. When does the public stop fearing this ghost? They've learned, they have a very compliant, and very pliable population. "Please enter these cattle carts folks". Fema camps await your entrance. Notice the barbed wire is facing on the inside.

Back to the schools. We are online. We don't fear the virus at all. 0.0%. I fear, the lunacy of the zombies that have the authority to control the school district.

They are some people wearing masks here, but a lot don't. It kills me when I see someone wearing a mask outside when it's 100 degrees?

I've been asking around and be there are a lot of rumors, but I haven't found anyone that actually said their kids have been quarantined.

Kids are going to get sick when they go back to to school. It's certainly not a new thing.

Haven't worn a mask voluntarily yet. Little resistance.

Walk into a place wearing a mesh mask, with zero breathing resistance, and find how many won't care.

It's never been about safety, only compliance.

Oh yeah. I would never get tested unless I ended up in a hospital. I'm sure you have no choice that point. They get paid for positive tests.

Soooo right! The original purpose for closing down our schools was so we could be socially shamed by our state and federal government officials into "flattening the curve." I remember Cuomo talking about that in NY.

Then the goalposts started to shift. And shift. And, oh shit, it's almost September and people aren't dying in massive numbers in America; orange man is still bad for the communist NPCs in democrat controlled shitholes; and we're running out of reasons to continue buying this narrative.

I wasn't even that shocked to read about the gov't trial of Covid-19 vaccine messaging to manipulate-er, convince us that the vaccine is good and safe...
