Pfizer says its virus vaccine could be ready for October review

I think whoever the first pharmaceutical company is to deploy a vaccine in the US will end up completely destroyed for sure.

First the stock will go way up and then they will get sued into oblivion.

Any laws passed to protect them from law suits will be successfully sued into oblivion by a feeding frenzy of trial lawyers bigger than anything since Shark Week.

It'll be like that because they'll have ample evidence that the vaccine was both not reliably effective and also that it caused a lot of health problems, probably on a comparable scale to Covid-19 itself. And the vaccine will hurt people who weren't much at risk from Covid-19 in the first place.
