And the other prayers I'm on the verge of praying are along the lines of 'Lord bless this blade and bat'...so I'll pass on those at present. This Church smoke would have been visible, it is a 16 minute drive across the river from me, if I would have been outside and looking.
There are a few dozens Orthodox/Coptic Churches in the LOwer Mainland of BC. All of them very small, with a dearth of Catechumens. SHeesh, with Tim still studying all the time for the last 2 years solid, 4 in total, he is still not quite ready for the ROCOR! The AOC would have probably made him a Priest by now...lol.

Prayers for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Amen

This is so sad. Prayers said for the people who lost their church home.

Praying for the people out west, the fires must be bad, we have smoke filled sky's in Michigan. The sun is a red ball this morning.

Including all in my prayer.

We were warned that this all was going to happen. It is in Revelation. But, we didn't know that we would be the generation to experience the beginning of sorrows.

I think we have maybe had only 2-3 days of sunshine out of the past 30 days, because of the smoke. I am in Northwest Indiana.

I'm pretty exhausted, however I feel some relief in sight.
Sometimes knowing too much, leads to many headaches.

Knowledge is a good thing. God gives us the ability to seek and absorb knowledge, and we need to use it.

That being said, we are in perilous times. Things that are happening now, are in Revelation. We must not be afraid, but need to stand strong, as God is with us. God wins in the end, so there is nothing on this earth to truly fear, as this rock is just a stepping stone to eternity.

We need to increase our prayer time, and formal prayers are just a part of it. We need to open up our hearts and souls to God, as He speaks to us. It is time to truly listen to what He has to say.

Satan wants us to be fearful. God wants us to put all of our trust in Him, as we should, because He is Faithful and True, and will not abandon His children in their time of need.

We may be in perilous times however clarity comes when you see the BIG picture, and then fear will fade away. :)

Revelations or the Apocalypse is merely about ascertaining the truth through seeking the facts.

For once, and in the craziest of times, my whole family seems to be doing well. 4 kids, 3 parents left (with my inlaws, my dad has passed). Nothing bad happening with extended family either. I think this is a first.

My work has exploded and we have more than we need.

Therefore, I can and will focus my prayers on others.

Keeping all here in my prayer.
