She is always in my prayers.

My prayers are with you and your mom. Nursing homes can be a blessing, even though they can be nightmares. Still, if it can be avoided, that would be what I'd want, too.

Tiger, thanks for sharing your story - He does take care of us.

Wow, miz.fizzy, I haven't been around much this week and totally missed this. The Lord is working hard in our lives, indeed!

Nothing awful keeping me off the forum; husband is working out of town and all 5 dogs are cooped up inside because of the heat. Two of them would vastly prefer to be outside regardless, but one's on medication and the other would play himself to death. It's keeping me hopping, but it's hardly a problem.

Praying for all of us all the time. We all need it, whether we know it or not - though, of course, most of us on this thread know it for sure.

The heat here atm is very sledgehammer-like but not actually uncommon for this area this time of year. It is taking a toll though. Our daughter is at church camp this week and her cousin just had a pretty serious heat stroke there. Had to go to the hospital. For a teenage boy, that's pretty severe. He'll be alright once well hydrated and cooled down though.

A good friend's father in law was in remission from cancer. He got both shots and now, a month later, his cancer is full blown and looks like he is organ failure. I don't know his name, but he is Dante's father in law. If you feel led to pray for him, I would appreciate it.

Someone close to me beat 8 types of cancer for 20 years. He was told to get the vax to make it easier to get any treatment in the future. 2 months later cancer spread like crazy and took him.

That is very sad. My gut said that people with cancer would be very attacked by the vaxx....I have another friend who is still doing immunotherapy who took the shot. I also work for him part-time. No talking to him about it either. I expect to not have a job come December or January.

Honestly, that's the least of my worries with it.

ETA, I have his name....Nam Song. He and his wife escaped the Khmer Rouge to come to freedom. He's been a great father and grandfather and is very much loved and respected.

Update on Nam Song....He is still in the hospital but doing much better. He was quite dehydrated apparently. Not sure when he may go home, but please continue in prayer for him.

My friend is going to get RSO oil for him, and see how that does.
