(OP) User ID: 79267566 United States 11/17/2022 07:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Prayers needed for my Aunt Helen. She is in the hospital in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, and is not expected to make it. She is quite up in age. She is my mothers 2nd youngest sister. Aunt Helen has been through a lot. Two of her 3 daughters died young from cancer. The youngest daughter died from ovarian cancer quite young, leaving behind her husband and 2 young children. Her oldest daughter, who's oldest child died as a baby, died from liver cancer, and a year after she died, her husband died from intestinal cancer. My Aunts husband, Uncle Andy, died about 12 years ago from a heart attack. My Aunt Helen was always so kind and welcoming, and Uncle Andy was one heck of a joker ! He could make you laugh so hard, your stomach would hurt ! I have not been back to Pennsylvania to see family for about 10 years, when I went to my cousins funeral. I definitely will not be going back for my Aunts funeral, even though I wish I could. Winter is a very dangerous time to go there, as my family is up in the mountains, and the roads are very treacherous. For example, only the main road gets plowed, and the way to get to their homes is on a narrow road that goes to only one lane through a tunnel. You got to stop at one end of the tunnel, honk your horn, and wait a second to see if anyone else is coming from the other side ! When I went to my cousins funeral, another Uncle drove my brother and I to the funeral home and to the funeral. He has a 4 wheel drive big pick-up truck, and had chains on the tires, and we still did some slipping and sliding on those mountain roads. FYI, many of my family were coal miners. They lived in Company Houses, heated their homes with coal furnaces that had arms like an octopus, had no indoor bathrooms or plumbing, dirt or gravel roads, no paved, etc. It is different now, but when I was a kid, there was no modern anything there, except they did have electric. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

User ID: 84105605 United States 11/17/2022 08:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you all wouldn't mind keeping my younger sister, Mandy, in your prayers it would mean the world to me. She's really been going through it with lots of strange symptoms and no conclusive test results. She's had blood work done, biopsies, MRI's, etc. She doesn't feel right and is really working herself up with stress. I try to calm her down and reassure her that God has her back, but I know she is scared. That breaks my heart. I hate to say it, but I question if it's all because she got the vax and boosters. There was no talking her out of it, unfortunately. It's just weird that she went from a perfectly normal, healthy young lady to having all of these crazy symptoms with no explanation. I'm aware this can happen even without the vax, as it happened to me years ago and since resolved, but her symptoms only kicked up since she got the shots. Anyway...I'm rambling now. Thank you all for listening. Please keep her in your prayers. She has some appointments coming up, which include another MRI. Ugh. My baby girl. :( ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Oh, Simple, praying for you and your little sister. We can't stop them for doing what they're going to do, but we can't help worrying about them when things go wrong. So glad you checked in Marco! And Dave, I can only give green about half the time - and then suddenly it will go a week and I'm fine. I use three different browsers for different things and sometimes none of them will let me do what I want on GLP. Love you all! Prayers for all of us, for we're all in need of God's loving grace! So between that and getting wood in and everything ready for winter, it's been busy. My husband's still not doing great. General fatigue and RA bothering him. I am trying to be able to cover all the general bills with electricity and feed being the biggest expenses. I am so very grateful that we aren't in debt, but operating expenses are just crazy! Love you all. Thanks for being here and being so diligent! Things are bad enough, there is no need to make anything up. ~Fluffy "Never interrupt an enemy in the process of destroying himself." Quoting: Anonymous Sun My mother is still in the hospital. She has been on a few different antibiotics by IV for a UTI infection, and then a intestinal infection. She has been able to hold down food and water the past couple days and seems to be doing a little better .However...today she tested positive for Covid-19 virus. She took all the previous Covid shots and boosters. She thinks she caught it at the bowling alley. BF and I tested ourselves today since we have had very close contact with her while she has been in the hospital. Both of us tested negative. Neither of us has had any of the Covid shots. Keeping your mom in my prayers. Thanks everyone for all the prayers.I really believe they helped. My mom is continuously improving and tonight she is being moved from the hospital to a rehabilition center to work on getting her strength back. Although she has Covid she hasn't had any symptoms of it and is doing really well. |
