Kenny found out what hospital they have taken Matthew to, from the original hospital. He is in the psych ward. They might keep him for 5 days instead of the usual 72 hour hold. Kenny is seeing a lawyer tomorrow. I told him he does need to file assault charges on Matthew, for hitting him with the remote so hard, the back of it flew off and the batteries popped out. Right now, the more Kenny can document what has happened, the easier it will be to get a restraining order. I also told Kenny to search Matthews room. Kenny spotted one gun previously and took it away from Matthew. Who knows what dangerous things still might be in there.

Pray, please, that the spine of steel the Good Lord gave me, holds up through all of this. I feel like I am the one everyone is looking to, for advice, and the only one who is calm, rational, and advising to Kenny and to the rest of the family, as to what do next, legally and otherwise.

I am analyzing the worst case scenario, and am trying to be proactive in this regard. I am glad Kenny is pursuing whatever legal avenue is available to stop the threat that is Matthew. The truth is, and Kenny and all the family agrees, the threat is indeed Matthew. He has no remorse for any of his actions, past or recent. He demands to do what he wants to do, when he wants to do it, and if there are any consequences, well, in his mind, it's everyone's fault but his.

My family is going through a nightmare.

Prayers continue to be appreciated here... hubby fighting a bug and the antibiotic making him feverish....good news is he taking more liquid food and keeping it down since he got the new feeding tube....But this bug is rough atm...

I was waaaay overstressed today because caregiver called out and the agency didn’t contact me until I had already left for work... I had something scheduled this morning that I could not get changed on that short notice...thankfully it went well (God bless all of you that pray for us daily—I believe your praying helped me get things done) but the stress of it all really affected me in a way I don’t even want to acknowledge.....I feel like I probably have some form of long Covid due to my frequent exhaustion and some other things...

He’s dozing in the living room and I am sitting outside Atm and I walked barefoot for a bit on the grass outside my patio to try to get grounded...I read about it here on GLP that sometimes it helps—I don’t think it goes against Scripture (I pray not) but it did seem to help me calm down some...
I am doing my utmost to stay calm because he needs me so much,,,.

I had to leave early today and I am really surrendering my job and finances at the foot of the Cross today....Gotta go he needs me

My nephew Matthew is getting out of the psych ward at the hospital on Wednesday. He will be staying at his mother's sister's house. Matthews mother and her sister are coming over to Kenny's house on Wednesday to get Matthews clothes and his personal items. I hope Kenny gets the restraining order asap.

The doctor could have held Matthew in the psych ward for an additional 2 weeks, without Matthews consent, under what is known as a 5150, but didn't.
There has been several incidents the past few months, that I am sure the doctor wasn't aware of, besides last Friday night. Kenny has disowned Matthew. There was more to Fridays blowup than what I have posted.It has been a continual chain of incidents, ramping up since Matthew crashed his car into the restaurant in June.

Matthew Update !

My brother Kenny got a restraining order and an eviction notice against Matthew. By Indiana law, since Matthew was a resident, even though he was not renting or a co-owner, a formal eviction has to be done. The eviction notice gives Matthew 30 days to remove his items. The restraining order would make him send other's to pick up his stuff. He is not allowed on Kenny's property.

Same in Michigan, all they have to do is have your address as their mailing address, you can't kick them out, or their friends they have over. I can go to the post office and have anyone's address changed to my mailing address with out their permission.

I have a friend was remodeling a rental house, his crackhead brother, made it he's mailing address, took him damn near a year to get him out. The guy tore the place apart, had to remodel again, just to sell it.
