Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
Could use some prayers for my daughter. She has a bad infection going on that her doctor thinks entered her blood stream. It's challenging (to say the least) to convince a stubborn 20 year old Irish girl to go to the emergency room and take care of business.

I'm so worried. I think, and pray, I might have talked her into going. She's on her way home now from a friend's house that's about 30-40 minutes away. I want to bring her to the emergency room. And I'm not a fan of hospitals, but I know she needs the help right now. It's getting worse and worse, and she's not due to go back to her regular doctor until Tuesday. I don't think we can wait that long. :(

A little update on my daughter. I think the warm compress and Neosporin helped tremendously! Not to be too graphic but it 'burst' overnight finally and she got a bunch of the infection out. She's feeling much better today now. She said her head doesn't hurt for the first time in almost 2 weeks. I'm so relieved! So she will see her doctor on Tuesday. :)

Prayers work! Thank you all!

Urgent Prayers needed !!!

I just came back from the ER long enough to let my dogs out and type this quick message. I had to take Mary K to the ER, as she was having bad chest pains. We have been there for close to 4 hours. They are so jammed, there is no doubt at the least we will be there all night, just waiting. My youngest and her fiance are there at the ER with Mary K, and I am leaving to go back.

Please pray for my daughter Mary K!

May I humbly ask that you all keep my son and I in your prayers, we have a mediation tomorrow for my divorce, and my wife has done everything to try and keep me form my son, a newborn, I pray and would humbly ask that you all pray that the evil is cast out of her heat and we come to some resolutions rather than further court dates and time wasted, even though he is less than a year old, I know its taking a toll on my poor son as well.

May Our Lord and Savior Bless you all, in the Name of The Heavenly Father, The Heavenly Son, and The Holy Spirit, now and forever and for the ages of ages, Amen.

Mary K Update !

We got home at 3am. To say I am exhausted is an understatement. I hope I get a nap in today, but right now, I am doing laundry. I got house cleaning to do, but that can wait until late today or tomorrow.

The repeat EKG's didn't show anything wrong, and neither did the blood work. Mary K had 2 attacks of severe chest pain while we were in the waiting room. It was so bad, she started crying from the pain. She has to call her cardiologist today. The ER doctor said her cardiologist needs to adjust her meds.

The ER was a nightmare, but not as bad as the other hospital I went to in October when I fell and dislocated my hip.To sum it up, as a former EMT, we have become a 3rd world country in regards to medical care. The hospital we went to last night, is where I had my classes 41 years ago, and where I put in my clinical hours for my EMT certification.

The hospital in my city of 70,000 people closed up, and is being demolished. All the patients in my city, now have to travel out of the city to go for emergency care. The ER's in the 2 closest hospitals are overwhelmed, short staffed, and just a nightmare. We were there for hours before they even did an EKG.

Mary K was clutching her chest, had tears running down her face, and was being ignored by the medical personnel walking past her in the waiting room. Then, she recognized one of the nurses. She looked at her, and called out her name. Mary K told her "Hi (name). I know you, your Dad is (name) and your brother is (name). I decided to chime in later, letting them know I was a former EMT, went to classes at this particular hospital, did my clinical s there, and was the 2nd unit to arrive at the Cline Avenue Bridge Disaster.
Mary K finally got some attention, after twice telling the security guard and the intake nurse that Mary K's chest pains were worse, and being ignored. I told Mary K, that if she codes, at least I am there to do CPR.
Well, name dropping and my "street cred" finally got her care.

Thank you all for your prayers !!!~

Well, I am glad it turned out okay, but sorry you had to go through all of that. Usually chest pains gets you to the front of the line, but like you said the ER was overwhelmed.

Many nurses that I know, including myself, have left the profession and would rather work at Wal Mart than return to that. It's the fault of the system: mandatory vaxes, long hours, hospital politics, etc, etc. Personally, I would never give any one the jab and be able to live with myself and that is a major reason that I will not return.

Keeping Mary K in my prayers and you as well. Get some rest! hugs

Kind of horrible that you had to do all of that just to get some care, but perhaps that was God's "prompt" to get someone to get to it!

Let us know what her cardiologist says. Really happy to hear that she is ok for now and that everyone is home and safe, if not super tired :)

It is just horrible that it came to name dropping and some "street cred" to get Mary K care. I felt so bad for the other's in the waiting room, in particular a man sitting across from us with his little girl, who was so sick. She was puking her guts out, and was so weak she couldn't stand. They got there about an hour after we did, and were still waiting to be seen when Mary K finally got a room in the ER. We watched some people just walk out. There was a lady there who had been there for 3 hours longer than us, and she still wasn't seen until after Mary K was taken into the back.

God took care of us !!!

Get some rest! hugs

Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
