Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
Prayers for the veteran, tiger1's need for a new home, and all here.

Tiger1 I understand about the crawling, I need to do it too. I tried a different pain regimen and it worked, but I shared it with my wife for her osteoarthritis so have run out of it. We've ordered turmeric capsules yesterday as that is supposed to help with inflamed joints and have an email that it has shipped.

I have anti-inflammatory medication but it is causing kidney damage so I'm trying to not take it, but without it my right leg becomes so stiff that moving it is both impossible for its muscles and extremely painful if I grab it and move it by hand. When our SUV was wrecked I bought my Mrs. a pickup truck not knowing two years later I would be unable to get into it without great effort and a minute or two of work.
Most people live life on a path set for them, too afraid to explore any other

But once in a while people like you come along who knock down all the obstacles we put in your way

I think that's the real plan

Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
I know I probably sound like a whiner, but I have been so overwhelmed this year, and it hasn't got any easier.

My daughters took me out for brunch after I got home from Church yesterday morning.We had a great meal, but as we were leaving the restaurant, the short 1 inch heel on my right boot somehow got snagged in the rubber mat at the entrance, and down I went.I didn't break anything, but I am rather sore and have a small scrape on my right knee. My ankle went out, and I got it back in place at the restaurant. The knee was out, but I got it back in place when I got home. My hip still hurts, not as bad as yesterday, but not exactly comfortable. I am calling the Chiropractor this morning.I got to say, when I fell, I yelled, and a young man came running up, scooped me up off the floor like I was as light as a sheet of paper(I am a lightweight,91 pounds), and my daughters grabbed me and set me down on a bench.God Bless that young man for helping me ! There is no way I was going to a hospital with all the covid hysteria going on. So prayers needed that my Chiropractor puts me back together, once again.

The biggest thing I am still dealing with, besides the medical bills for my late husband Roy, that seem to never stop trickling in, is the house issue. I have been trying so hard to find a smaller home on a very low budget, that is not falling apart like this one is. Most of the walls and ceilings are cracked, and there is separation between some of the ceilings and walls.The chimney is now separated from the adjoining walls, and some of the cracks are an inch wide, or gaping holes. My foundation is also literally crumbling. I am going to Menards today to get the expanding foam to plug up the gaps in the concrete blocks in the basement, and to plug the holes where the concrete blocks have literally crumbled. The cold air is blowing through the deteriorated blocks.It is the best I can do. This house has a whole bunch of serious problems, including electrical, and there is no way I can fix it, as the cost would be astronomical.
I am asking for prayers, that I could find a cheap, smaller house, that is in good shape overall, and just needs cosmetics, which I can handle.

Thank you, my Friend ! I just want something simple but safe, with a fenced yard, so my dogs can have an area to run around.My oldest daughter might move in with me.She has a really nice place she is renting,a 1st floor of a huge old house, and has been there several years. Her landlord said he might sell it, and will make up his mind by January 1st.
With my arthritis, I am having a bit of a rough time getting up stairs. I can get down mostly OK, but going up, I have to crawl, as I am a bit wobbly on my feet, sometimes.I can't carry any kind of weight, as it makes me off balance.So, when I do laundry, I can get down the basement stairs pretty OK, but going back up, it is one step at a time. I put the clothes basket on a step in front of me, crawl a step, and then repeat until I am upstairs with the load. My kids didn't know I was that bad, as I am so stubborn and independent. My youngest daughter saw this a couple of weeks ago, and was appalled at my dilemma.My daughters have been going with me to look at other houses, as they know I am in a dicey situation here, and they are trying to help me find another home.

Prayers definitely needed.
 Quoting: tiger1

So sorry to hear this. I recently fell in our local grocery store, but it was there fault. The refrigerator was leaking in the fresh veggie section and they did not mark it far enough out. I did damage my good knee but not bad enough to go to the hospital. It was embarrassing and I just wanted them to let me go on my way. I am praying hard that you will not have any long term repercussions from this and that God will swiftly heal you.

As far as the house, it sounds like it is getting dangerous to be there. I pray that God will lead you to the perfect place and location to fit your needs.

Prayers Hugs

I don't know about where you live, but here if you own your house and pay property tax. If you have a hard time paying med bills. You can call them and they will lower the bill.

My wife did this when I had some big bills from the hospital, they cut the bills by a lot.

My oldest daughter offered to move me and the dogs in with her, as her landlord wouldn't mind, I know him. But, now her landlord is talking about selling it, so she might have to find another place to live.Her place is really nice, but I don't blame her landlord, as a commuter train line is being put in right behind his house.

Over here, if you have no insurance, they lower your bill substantially, and charge you a fraction of the cost, based on your income. If you have insurance, they jack up the price, and you end up paying more, in the end than if you didn't have insurance.When I didn't have insurance, I paid $20-$25 a visit when I went to the clinic. Now, they are charging $400 for a clinic visit, and you end up paying $80-$100 or more, as they jacked up the base visit rate up to $400.

Good morning everyone.

Thank you all for your prayers. My wife is having a terrible difficult time waiting for our lawsuit to complete so we know if we may keep our home and is taking all of her anger out on me.

I'm praying for strength to be patient and remain kind to her despite her screaming she hates me and will kill me before she moves out if she gets a job. She quit her job two years ago so I am our sole supporter, even paying for her truck, all of her crafting supplies, and medical bills.

It's a test for me I'm sure and I'm being as kind and patient with her as possible. The forum, mostly the foodie thread is where I voice my frustration, but I come here to give prayer for others and myself.

Holding all here up in prayer, John, tiger1, Fluffy P. and for others needs to be met.

Have a beautiful day brought to us by God.

Prayers said for all. grouphug

I woke up this morning, and went out to feed the outside cats, and there was a face board that fell off my back steps. It was screwed in, and still fell off, so I assume the wood is deteriorating.I did buy the sealant expanding foam at Home Depot yesterday. Today I have to go to the dentist so I plan on plugging holes in the foundation Wednesday or Thursday, as it is supposed to be a bit warmer.Plus I expect to be miserable after the dentist visit, as I sure was the last visit.

I want to thank you all for the prayers. Even though more things are falling apart over here, I feel very calm.I am leaving it all in God's Hands, and am thankful for what I do have.

Tiger, many hugs and prayers for your path to be made clear as only He can make it. hf

Psalms 149
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalms 150
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Haggai 2

18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid, consider it.
19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

20 And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
23 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Tiger, many hugs and prayers for your path to be made clear as only He can make it. hf

Taking hubby to the doctor today. He plugged his ears up with wax trying to clean them and I can't get them unplugged. Also going to see if perhaps we can get a low dose naltrexone scrip to try to address this chronic fatigue problem. And he's super dang grumpy, cranky and hostile. Makes it even more difficult.

We'll see what happens. I'm just at my wits end. We did have a conversation yesterday about being thankful and praising Yah in all things. It can be difficult to remember to do that. #MeToo....

I don't know why that happens or what makes it stop. Until my twenties I would need to see a doctor every couple of years who took a syringe big enough to give a horse a shot
and filled it with warm water and inserted it in my ear and flushed out.

I swear an inch long wax plug would come out of each.

Praying Mr. FP will find relief in his ear cleaning.
Most people live life on a path set for them, too afraid to explore any other

But once in a while people like you come along who knock down all the obstacles we put in your way

People who realize free will is a gift you'll never know how to use until you fight for it

I think that's the real plan

Ear candling was amazing. It is 'illegal' in Canada but easy to buy them anyhow. What a neat experience it was the few times I have done it.

Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
Prayers needed.

My gosh my mouth is so sore from the dentist this afternoon. The total reconstruction of my mouth has been going on for 1 1/2 years, and is not over yet. My lower jaw looks like the inside of the mouth of the villain from the Bond movie, lots of steel. Today the dentist had to unscrew and re-screw in the posts in my lower jaw several times. That really hurts, and unfortunately I cannot be numbed or given pain meds because of my allergies.Hopefully I can get the temporary put in the bottom in a couple of weeks.

Maybe some really good news.Some unexpected money came in, and I can now put a small down payment on a house.Maybe even better news. My daughters are going nuts trying to find me another home, as this house is literally crumbling around me. My youngest thinks she found one, and we are looking at it tomorrow at 5pm.It has everything I am looking for, and then some, living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full basement, and is half the size of this crumbling behemoth. The absolute bonus is the fact it has a coach house in the back with a 2 car garage on the lower level, and an apartment upstairs.If this place pans out, it will take care of my housing needs, and my oldest daughters.I get the front, and she gets the back.

The elderly lady that was living in that house has been put in a nursing home, and the family just wants to get rid of the house. We can get it dirt cheap, but have to clean it out. We will have to get a dumpster, as there is a lot of stuff in the house, and the family doesn't want to deal with it.We will donate to charity anything that is good that I can't use.The house has beautiful hardwood floors that will need refinishing, and the hideous colors on the inside will be taken care of with some paint.The exterior of the house and the yard are perfect. My daughters and their friends will help with the cleaning, painting,moving, etc.

So, I really need you all to pray for me that this house is a decent place for me to live, and nothing major turns up. We have been very disappointed at the few houses we have looked at so far.All of them were high priced and had major problems.The house we are looking at tomorrow is about 1 mile south of my current home, and in a lot better neighborhood.

Ahhh...sounds perfect. I don't know any prayers for new housing! So I'll just stick with my praying for guidance.
