Prayers said for all.

I go to the dentist later this morning to hopefully get the upper screwed in temporary plate fixed. My youngest daughter is going to the doctor today to get tested for covid. I pray she is negative !

Prayers needed for a dog who I helped rescue last week.Here is the condensed story. I was coming back from stopping at the store after my dental appointment last week, going down cemetery road, which is a 2 lane and slightly hilly street. I saw a vehicle stopped ahead of me,and a lady with a dog. It was my friend and neighbor, Laura, and the dog wasn't hers. She told me the dog was wandering around the road and another motorist stopped to help, and left after Laura grabbed the dog.

Laura called Animal Control, and I took over watching the dog while we were waiting for Animal Control to show up.
This dog is a sweet old dog, I guess she is 10-12+ years old, very mellow and well behaved.She had a collar on, and was attached to a leash.So far, no one has claimed her. She is not chipped. She will be free for adoption tomorrow, and I sincerely hope that if her owner doesn't show up at the last minute to claim her, that someone comes forward to adopt her, or maybe a rescue will take her.She has a non-cancerous large skin tag on her belly that will need to be removed right away, as it is large and irritating to her. Other than that, she appears to be in good health, even though she is a senior dog.

Animal Control is a high kill place. Over 90% of the animals taken there are euthanized.I told them I would adopt her if there is no other place for the old girl to go. My only concern is how she would get along with my old Fox Terrier, and my high energy dog Princess.I hope she likes cats, as I got some yard cats to consider in this too.

Prayers needed for this poor old dog ! I know I am a sucker/softie, and I probably don't need another dog, but there is something about this old girl that just hits me in the heart.

My daughter had the covid test and will find out the result on Wednesday. I had to go to the dentist twice today. they bonded the upper back together, but when I got home and was eating soft food, it broke again. So I went back, and they used a different material to bond it, and I hope when I eat later it doesn't come apart again.

I was able to eat very tender oven baked shredded chicken and some stuffing. So far, it is holding together. I was told not to bite with the front or chew with the front.It is too fragile from being broken and patched twice.

I had a strange start to the day, my Friends. I am always up early, but this morning at 6am central time,I woke up to my dog Princess howling like a wolf, 3 times.She has never done this before. FTR, she is Staffie, Boxer, and maybe a dash of Lab thrown in the mix.
It was dark when I got up. I am almost always up before the sunrise, as I was this morning.Sunrises can be colorful, but this morning it was absolutely eerie. EVERYTHING suddenly started glowing red, even inside my house. I looked towards the southeast and the sky looked like it was on fire.
It brought to mind the fact Argentina legalized abortion, and then had 3 earthquakes that registered 6 on the Richter scale.

I felt a need to pray intensely this morning, as something is definitely not right today. Maybe what I experienced this morning, was a warning. I am calm, though. God is in control. His Will be done.

I really think it is a warning. We need to pray.

We need to pray for God's mercy. We are being judged. Argentina just legalized abortion the day before yesterday, Yesterday they had three 6 magnitude earthquakes in a row.

Selfishly, I'd ask for inclusion into the prayer pool for tomorrow. Having Achilles tendon surgery and it makes me nervous. At least they're using propofol instead of general anesthesia (which is really scary stuff for seniors). Of course, the good news is that I'll have plenty of time to peruse the forums!

I've had propofol for two colonoscopies now and my husband has had it too. It is always scary, for me anyway, going under. However propofol is pretty safe as forms of anesthesia go. I always pray right before I go under and it helps to ease my mind.

Praying for you to have a successful surgery and no complications.

I got a call today that a colleague and friend passed over the weekend. I knew her for 14 years. I am in shock. Not certain if it was Covid or not. I appreciate any and all prayers.

Praying for everyone here and for all requested prayers. Extra prayers for the nation as darkness will truly fall across the land if the inauguration goes forward as planned. Praying for a miracle at this point!
