Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
I went to church this morning and it was a great message...and I left completely empty. It didn't speak to me as it should have.

I've stayed faithful and I'm honoring a marriage covenant with a mentally ill woman hell-bent on destroying my life for no reason or gain.

I'm committed to staying faithful until the end for the Lord's sake, but it's very challenging. Everyone thinks I'm stupid I'm sure, but I believe it's the right thing to do.
 Quoting: Psychedelic Mashed Potatoes

If the situation becomes physical, you need to walk away. I understand where you are coming from, and I applaud your courage and fortitude, but sometimes, for your own personal sake, you got to say that enough is enough. Prayers said.
 Quoting: tiger1

She hasn't talked to me in four months, but has refused to finalize the divorce. I'm trying to negotiate a settlement for the divorce, but her attorney will barely acknowledge me. I still pray every day for restoration and healing of our marriage, but at this point, I would also just like some resolution.

And thank you for your prayers.

My dad's name was Roy.
 Quoting: Psychedelic Mashed Potatoes

I was divorced when Roy and I got married 20 years ago. My late ex, who died of cancer also, years after we split, kept my divorce dragged on for 2 years. When it came to the final hearing, after 2 years of unbelievable things I had to deal with, the judge would not sign the divorce papers. 2 months after the final divorce hearing,my lawyer had to go to the judges office, and he waited there and made the judge sign the divorce papers.
My ex was extremely abusive in all respects, and had unbelievable political connections and pull. I couldn't even get the cops to honor a restraining order against him. He stalked me when Roy and I started dating, and went completely nutso when Roy and I got married. He even tried to stop my marriage to Roy.My ex harassed and stalked me until the day he died 13 years ago.
I got to warn you, if you are dealing with mental issues with your soon to be ex, be prepared. It doesn't end with the divorce, it just escalates and you might be harassed legally through court for years, like I was.
You have my prayers ! I feel for you !
Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!!

Simple Daily Faith & Living

Trust in the Father and the Son fully
Thank the Father for sending His Son to us
Thank Jesus for doing the Father's Will
Repent to God the Father for your sins
Give thanks for daily blessings...regardless of how simple / "ordinary" they may seem
Love others and forgive them as necessary
Pray for others and help them if possible
Read the Bible and ask Jesus or the Father for guidance concerning it
Pray / ask the Father to show HIS WILL for you to do
Share your "testimonies" of what God and Jesus have done for you
I am a humble Servant of the one True Living God.

Just caught up on the 3 pages since my last post on Friday. Prayers for each and every one of you. Some of your posts made me so emotional, I feel so much empathy for you all. I pray that God shows up in a big way for you all, to meet each and every need, and provide healing to mind, body, and soul. In Jesus name amen.

Love y'all so much, I'm so grateful for everyone in this thread and the fellowship we have and faithfulness in praying for one another.

Re: Prayer Thread Part 3.
I have a query. My property mate is ROCOR, it takes 6-7 hours to get to his church in the city (our ferries are always dicey for timing in Summer). Plus with the covid nonsense it just isn't worth it. The ROCIA (hmmm...sketchyacronym) does have a Priest on the coast but he closed it, works for google, knows MUsk etc. Ie he is globalist. So the vibe there doesn't really fit when you do liturgy AND then get a sermon on global warming...meh.

Since I'm not there, he has no one to talk to about his faith and worldview. In fact he is mocked and shunned. Someone posted this [link to www.crossroad.to] But it is rather short. Anyone know of a longer read for him? He was even denied service at our local Legion/pub because he disgarees with everyone. When I go into public, I'm just accepted as a heterodox Orthodox because I've been a very active memember of the community and everyone has always just found me odd, yet smart/caring for a very long time. And I don't speak much. Unless of course asked.

SO any thoughts? And pray for Tim!

Prayers for needs and requests and always looking up.

Psalms 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Mark 8:25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

It is so funny that you posted this Lance. This morning I was having a little chat with God, and the thought of having a house church just with a small group popped into my mind.

My thought was that with most churches taping their services now, we can gather to watch it or part of it as the Spirit leads.

Ohh my. I was lost checking in and finding #2 closed. Do not know what is going on. Got the gist of it with a skim through. Did not see a link to this one. Just looked for a post by Tiger.

Been sitting here contemplating a lot of things and getting a little lost. Anger has been creeping back in my life again, but oddly it seems to be helping me in a weird way. I am angry about all this that I am going through. It pushes me to do the things as I am fed up not being able to do things. Ironically, my pain levels have gotten far worse lately, but oddly I have gotten use of my legs back to about 90%. I did not fall down at all today and walked almost 2 miles. Just some insight, I use to run 10 miles a day, sometimes twice a day. I have not been able to do this for weeks, heck months really.

Enough about my updates as they get long some times. Hopefully things will pick up here. I am not sure if it is posted in PTP2 or not, but if a way there should be a link to here as the last post if possible.

Love everyone. Hope everyone is well. Prayers said for all.
