May everyone have a Blessed Thanksgiving !!!

Good morning.

Prayers given for all here and to be at peace with loved one's passing.

The holidays are really rough. This is the first time I will be cooking a turkey by myself. My husband Roy always did the turkey, and I did all the sides and desserts. He was a cook and pastry chef in the Marine Corp, and was an excellent cook, to say the least.I have done a lot of crying this week.

Prayers said for all.

Thank You Dear Lord god for Life on Earth and everywhere.

Bring comfort and peace and protection for our Loved ones and those we know not.

I am responsible for my telling the truth about what is going. Can I shoulder that truth? Yes, I can, I might be a small man but I am angry. It takes a lot to get Canucks riled but once we are we tend to burn down Whitehouses. The Canadian Bear has awoken and I just pray everyone finds the Guidance they need. Everyone will need that Guidance in the days to come.

Back to you my Friend. I am starting to cry again, but I have a duty to cook for 20 !

We cooked for 17 today and that was a lot of work, but fun. Enjoy your family.

It is good to be needed. Husband and I are alone today, and I got a small boar's head turkey wedge, some stuffing, a cup or two of veggies and pumpkin pie ice cream. Oh, and defrosted a couple of yeast rolls. I don't have much appetite though, tbh...It is all I can do to eat every day here, because he can't. But I am glad he is here with me...it's so hard at times. He and I have our good moments and not so good, because we are human..I share alot with what you have written over the years... I am so sorry--I am praying for you to ease your pain, mental and physical.

I miss my daughter so much today--but we all agreed it was the right thing to do under the circumstances--between her work and husband's endurance level for a round trip of 6 hours in the car, plus the time there...

I am grateful for all that we have...

I just do my best to give thanks and say God's Will Be Done.

I am very grateful for all of you and your prayers.

We ended up having 14 instead of 20,and half of them came over later to my house, and didn't leave until 11pm. Yeah, I am tired, but glad we could get together ! Christmas will be at my house this year, and Easter next year will be at the youngest daughters house.We are going to rotate holidays, since 3 of us have our own homes.

Another MRI last Tuesday. The cyst has grown.
Update about job. Denied Medical retirement. Going to appeal the ruling. Getting more from my Nuerologist and Nuerosurgeon.

Kids are good. TDay was good. Grilled up a spatchcock turkey, corn on the cob I froze earlier this year, mashed potatoes. My 13yo daughter made a pumpkin and minced meat pie. All was good.
