Prayers said for all.

What a weird day. In 2 1/2 hours I will be at the title company, signing away my old house. The memories are deep, but I have to move on, so I can heal emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

I do believe God sent me to my new home for a reason. Of all the houses I looked at, I knew this one was the one for me as soon as I pulled up in front of it. It is ordinary, nothing showy on the outside, but absolutely perfect for me on the inside.

I know I will cry at the title company, and I am crying now. I was at the old house over 20 years, raised my kids there,and shared the house with my husband who was not perfect, but I loved so much.I am so glad he got his wish to die at home, with all of us taking care of him, no outsiders, and peacefully in his sleep. His wish for me was to move, and get out of the old house, as it was too big and needed too much work. The neighborhood was changing too. Ideally, he wanted me to move out to the country, but that didn't work out for me.

So, I will update you all later. I am going to the old house for the last time this morning, before I go to the title company.
