Prayer Thread Part 3.

Praying for all of us in physical and spiritual pain and sharing joy for the blessings.

A friend from another forum, Talon, is in deep need of prayer warriors. She had an infected dental abscess develop into necrotizing fasciitis and has had necrotic tissue removed from her face, neck, and throat. She is heavily sedated and her husband is distraught. I don't know her actual name - when do we ever? - but please add her to your prayers.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I fell and banged up my knee a couple of weeks ago; Talon's situation certainly put me back in perspective and reminded me, once again, that I have so much to be grateful for and so many blessings. You all are a big part of those blessings. Thank you!

The abandoned Kitty next door, is being picked up by a well known area rescue group today. They are called "Treasured Friends". Every Saturday they have a pet adoption event at the local Petsmart. Thank you all for the prayers for Kitty !

Hey all! I've just been busy, sorry for not checking in.

Gypsy had a really hard time, but praise YHVH, she rounded the corner and actually ate again starting yesterday. I'm so, so grateful!!!! Had to give her fluids sub q and syringe water be and broth into her for several days. She's been sick for six days today, but really did great today!

That is great news. Praying the Kitty gets a good home.

The rescue picked her up late this afternoon. I cried a bit, as I would have kept her, but Princess hates cats. I had named her Katy. She is a sweet cat, will be well taken care of. The rescue said they will send me regular updates on her progress, and when she gets adopted.

The rescue shelter sent me a pic of Katy last night, all settled in. That made me feel a bit better ! :)

I'm glsd you got to see Katy settling in, I hope baby gets a new forever home soon.

Today was a little better. Pain was on a level of 5. Vertigo was way off the scales. mentally doing a bit better. Reading a bible chapter every 4 hours, asking God to speak to me through it and how to apply it to my life. I usually pause, read it again, and ask God to continue guiding, instructing, and forming me through the passage.


Was a little depressed today, but after doing that earlier I was doing a lot better. I actually pray prior and ask God to guide me to the right chapter to read. So far it has opened my eyes on several things.

Please pray for my dog, Blissy. I just got home from bringing her to the vet and incidentally found out she has cancer. A mast cell tumor. I am devastated. Surgery will be on the 27th.
