I agree. I'm glad people are taking this seriously. I'm near the east coast, not far from Daytona, so won't have to evacuate. But if I were near Tampa I definitely would.

There is not much love in this world right now except for the love you have shown us. Please let us hold onto those we love for as long as possible.
Keep Simple27's dog in your protection, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ do I ask, amen.

My younger brother in Englewood is right on the borderline for mandatory or voluntary evacuation. Right now, he is planning on staying, as is most of his neighbors. He said he is waiting to see how much worse things will get today, before he makes a decision to leave.

I'm sure he's aware that time is running short for a safe evacuation. I can't remember which Storm... Matthew maybe? I haven't slept much because this on top of my personal problems is too much. But I think it was Matthew. They didn't know which way it was going until last minute. I waited too long to evacuate, so hunkered down instead. It was very stressful, but I made it through. I promised next time they said go, I'd go.

Prayers for all in need, including family members in Ian's path and Simple27's pup. We're all in need of God's grace every minute, but things seem to be piling up these days. As an old friend used to say, "Send Him a Knee Mail!"

Please pray for my cat to return. He somehow pushed out a window screen on a slightly ooen window and got out while I was at work. Please pray he comes back unharmed.

Update from last MRI. My cyst has shrunk some, but I have 4.2mm lesion at c2 and Lumbar spondylosis with moderate left L4-5 and right L5-S1 foraminal stenosis resulting in impingement of the exiting left L4 and right L5 nerve roots.

Divorce is going on and just got the "Inventory sheet" for all things that are mine and community property.

I sympathize totally, Lunatic ! Prayers said ! You are not alone, as here is some more tidbits of what I went through. I got to forewarn you ! My ex dragged on the divorce for almost 2 years. He thought if he delayed it long enough, I would give up, and go back to him, like I had stupidly done before.I opened my mouth, finally, and had plenty of support behind me. They all told me they couldn't help me if I never said anything. They knew what was going on, but I had to ask them for help.

My 1st husband, the ex who undoubtedly was an offspring of the devil, demanded I inventory every single toy my children had. His reasoning was that I might sell them for the money, and he wanted a chance to sell them first !!! FTR, he took a lot of the kids possessions when he finally left the house for good, including their piggy banks, their coin collections, and the savings bonds they got from family and friends from their birthdays, holidays, etc. The savings bonds was their college money. My oldest had enough in bonds to pay for the 1st year in college. He cashed them all, and used the money for himself.

They did a great job with the neck incision. We still haven't moved her around enough to see the belly incisions. I don't want to bother her much right now.

She's still very out of it. Was able to get her prescriptions into her and she ate half of a boiled chicken breast and drank a little bit of water.

The humongous cone will go on before bedtime.

I have not been on much. Lots going on with dad. He went to the hospital for chest pains and was admitted, but all tests came back negative. So, it is probably just angina related to him not getting enough sleep.

We also have new windows being installed tomorrow so we had and still have lots of prep work to do before they get here.

It's always something, but it's nothing compared to what others have going on.
