I don't mean to sound flippant. It's just that it seems we've been watching rome burn for awhile now.

It's a simmering pot with a big fire flaring under it for sure.

Could be war between nations or civil war.

Political division and civil disturbances in the US.

Conflict between the US/NATO with Russia.

Conflict between the US and China -- South China Sea.

Conflict between Turks, Greeks, French, UAE -- Libya/Eastern Med/Aegean Sea (could drag in major powers)


There are other scenarios besides.


I'm talking about hot war between major powers or a civil war inside one of the major powers (formal/declared).

There's also the underlying spiritual war we are all facing.

I think about the preoccupation in recent years with zombies/vampires/etc. and the legends of the indigenous peoples such as the Windigo.

But I am derailing the thread. It is supposed to be about the stars and the portends we see there. I agree that war is inevitable. I also try to imagine an evolution of consciousness that allows us to move beyond this competition for power/resources that leads to war. But then realize there seems to be no growth without struggle, so maybe it is necessary?

Man is a long way away from that next phase of evolution (beyond war) if he makes it there.
