Joking aside, the airport is near Richmond, the more Chinese populated sector of the Greater Vancouver Area, so it would make more sense that local workers are more chinese on average lol

The average Chinese citizen is a nice and decent person, you know.. It's the Government of the country over across the Pacific that is funky - but the people, they are just living as best they can like they have been for 5000+ years in that area, under whomever happened to conquer them this time.

YVR is in Richmond which we call "Hong Kouver"

There are some businesses that have no English / French commercial signage... Only ion Chinese (Mandarin)...

Many Chines restaurants have no menus in English, just some notes like "Specials" "Coke" etc.

Wow, I was born in Richmond, looks a hell of a lot different than it did decades ago. Businesses and their signs are completely in Mandarin and it's been this way for a while. I could totally take pictures

At the airport, most of the international flights are from Asia, so you need staff who can speak the language(s).

If you live there or are Canadian you know they originally migrated to Ontario but preferred the climate and beauty of BC and the Vancouver area. Now Ontario has the Middle Easterners and Indians and Africans.

Even funnier is that the Asians hate the blacks and the blacks hate the Asians which I had no idea of. Not sure what the black population is out there but the Asians run and own everything.

Yeah, that's true, but Chinese immigration really took off in Canada and the entire West Coast when the Brits handed Hong King back to China. Many Chinese loaded up the family and all their money and started driving up housing prices to astronomical levels. I have in-laws that live north of Seattle and there are entire neighborhoods of Chinese, where English is rarely spoken.
