After getting that pesky trip to Louisiana out of the way, Donald Trump played golf for the 289th time as President today
Trump arrived to his D.C.-area golf club on Sunday, after getting up rather early and spending hours tweeting about a variety of controversial subjects, including seemingly encouraging supporters to clash with protesters in Portland, Ore.

Trump prefers to play golf in the mornings, while the Secret Service follows around Trump in golf carts that, so far, have cost American taxpayers nearly $765,000 to use. Trump claims to have a USGA handicap index under 5, but he is thought to have a vanity handicap that makes him seem better at the sport than he is.

The Secret Service has spent over $950,000 to stay overnight at Trump-owned properties, including his New Jersey country club.

Good, he needed a break. They guys schedule is just crazy. He's like the energizer bunny. Just keeps going, and going, and going, and going.

Liberals bring this up because they have shit work ethic and just don't know how we conservatives do it related to work. That's why got what we got, they want it, but won't work for it.

Donald Trump has been president for 1318 days.

He has played golf on 289 of those days.

That averages out to playing golf every 4.5 days of his presidency.

That quite a number considering that he promised he would stay in the White House and not play golf if he was elected.

The frequency with which Trump plays golf and how much that is costing the taxpayers isn't really an issue -- just as it wasn't for former President Barack Obama. The presidency is an overwhelmingly difficult job, and the office-holder is certainly entitled to a handful of hours every week to take a load off. However, Trump was particularly critical of how many rounds President Barack Obama played in office, and so now he looks somewhat hypocritical in retrospect.

He also said many times during his 2016 campaign that he would not play golf if elected.

If our President is walking and talking with extremely intelligent people on a nice long green lawn and coming up with solutions to the nation's and world's problems, why is having a small white ball on the grass an issue? If the ball was black would you calm down?

Trump’s Golfing and Rallies Causing Covid Outbreaks Among Secret Service

Dozens of Secret Service agents have contracted the virus or have been quarantined in the last two months after being exposed while planning security for Republican political rallies or accompanying the president, often in states with out-of-control outbreaks like Florida.

“Never before has the Secret Service run up against a president so intent on putting himself first regardless of the costs, including to those around him,” Ned Price, a former CIA analyst and national security expert said. “And by maintaining a rigorous travel schedule and otherwise flouting public health guidance, he is demanding that agents add to their already considerable professional risk in ways that are qualitatively different than what they signed up for.”

Five agents helping plan security for the president’s late July rally in Tampa had to be replaced when one agent tested positive and others who were around the agent were presumed positive as well. Shortly thereafter, two more agents began to show symptoms of COVID-19 after protecting the president as he golfed at his private club in Bedminster, N.J. And in Tulsa in June, six advance staff and two Secret Service agents contracted the virus before the president’s arrival, forcing dozens of agents into quarantine and causing a strain on the agency to find people to protect the president. A vice-presidential trip to Phoenix also left eight agents with symptoms or suspected exposure, forcing them to quarantine in a hotel.

One law enforcement official said that agents guarding the president and vice president were warned not to speak about co-workers who caught the virus for fear of angering Trump.

Put this in perspective. President Trump has served 1300 days approximately. This means he has enjoyed 41 weekends of golf over a three and three quarters years presidency.

He typically works a 12-14 hour day. In short...stfu
