Do you know how close to the desired landing spot they are able to hit with that thing? Its starting to feel like SpaceX is got some momentum going now. Hope this launches and landings keep going smoothly. Last Edited by Lord-Moon on 08/30/2020 10:10 PM |

Fake. I know it's not. It's real, and very cool. Just that no body had posted that yet, although an AC might have. I've got them muted. "Peace in our time? Love those big booms @ the end! Bless my fuck "It’s in my interest, in ours perhaps, or maybe the interests of the greater good, for me to smoke a joint, and calm down.” — Hunter S. I have worked about 15 launches total in Russia and in south america and they are amazing. Last one in Russia we were so close the concussion knocked my hat off! WHen it did the roll it ended up being directly above us. Damn amazing but if that thing would have blew that been it for us. I dont think most americans know just how big these things are in south america the launch tower is like 19 stories tall. |

How come the "object" is dark and blackend when "landing", and white when taking off? Did they get it a paint job at the rocket fuel station up in the sky? Sense when does a rocket which uses ALL of it's fuel going into low orbit now have enough to come back under power and land? and come to think of it, how did the 25 cops get to the "scene" soooo fast, yet didn't see the drive by that did the deed? and how come not a drop of blood can be seen? It's all pretty incredible if you ask me, which UUUUU didn't. |

It's all pretty incredible if you ask me, which UUUUU didn't. It's called soot. The refined kerosene used for fuel is very sooty and it flies through its own exhaust during the entry burn. It doesn't use all of the fuel to get to orbit, it saves a little for boostback and landing. Without the second stage and payload attached, and with most of the fuel gone, it has far less mass during landing and doesn't use all of the engines and requires only a little fuel to do it. |
