Looks like they tried to build something like a door stop out of cement. You know , peacefully locking in the police so they could burn down the police station with them in it. I wish I was a judge today...I would throw the book at these shit worms! Banned often |

Quoting: Seeker of Truth His younger brother was shot and killed by police in Alaska in February, according to a report in the Anchorage D N I don't care what your "motive" is.Arson with people in the structure is a "capital " crime" "Arson was legally regarded as a heinous and aggravated offense both because it threatened human life and the security of habitation and because it evidenced a moral recklessness and depravity in the perpetrator. Arson was thus a capital offense until more lenient statutes were enacted in the nineteenth century. Anonymous Coward User ID: 79185455 United States 08/31/2020 11:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They're going to run out of jail cells for these nut-jobs. Luckily they're idiots. Quoting: AggregateThreat SEATTLE — An Alaska man has been formally charged in connection with an incident earlier this week in which protesters tried to set fire to the Seattle Police Department's East Precinct building after using a fast drying concrete compound to try and lock the building's occupants inside. Desmond David-Pitts, 19, was charged with arson during a hearing in federal court in which he appeared via video conferencing. The judge appointed a public defender to represent David-Pitts, who is facing a prison sentence of up to 20 years and a fine of up to $250,000. [link to komonews.com (secure)] There is more than one entry/exit to the building. There could not have been murderous intent. It was clearly intent to harm the building and enrage the police. However, they could exit out one of the other doors. This is not a cartoon despite the sound of sealing the cops in the building with quik dry cement does sound like it was inspired by Bugs Bunny. However, the news all portrays it as if protesters locked the police in the building and set it on fire to kill them all. How would that have been accomplished exactly? Really? Quik dry cement? Even Bugs would probably have used concrete blocks. There are lots of them right there now. But those don't burn. Certainly stupid and obnoxious and requiring expensive repair but intent to seal a building full of cops? No.Maybe the guy was mentally ill and thought he could? You can see in pictures of the building, if you don't live here, there is an door on Pine and around the corner on 12th. Just steps away. Also, I believe there is parking underneath with entry/exit that way? Plus a gazillion windows that could be broken. Probably a door in the alley although I have not seen it and google maps doesnt go back there. I have seen pictures that they recently have built a double wall around the precinct now that is truly bizarre. Chain wire and cement. They can now more easily be locked in as well as keeping the cop haters out. There is now LESS ingress and egress to the building. That seems also out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon and it certainly makes it difficult for pedestrians who can't use that street to walk on anymore. Not that anyone wants to be near there at the moment. I think they should have applied for a permit from the city before building that, there is a fine for doing that kind of thing without a permit. |
