This is due to a number of factors. Those in power are not doing the bidding of the people at all. Our power has been usurped and is now wielded in our name to do things none of us would endorse. That said, we Americans must also acknowledge and own our negligence in our duties to safeguard our way of life and immediately set about correcting it by whatever means required.

Do you not think that without nefarious actors in this country's media it would still be this way? We are being blatantly incited and mislead. Each side of the story in the "news" and from the lips of elected prostitutes with such tone and content as to wake the ire of the opposition.

Maybe there is no enemy. Maybe we make enemies up out of ignorance and a side of imagination and then forget that we made them up and instead choose to believe our own lies.

Maybe if we - this instant - stopped believing in enemies, they would no longer exist.
