In NDE stories it seems the demons are doing the torturing with very little seen of the devil in those testimonies interestingly. Mary k Baxter has claimed to have seen the devil in her decent to hell openly mocking us during her out of body experience with jesus. But the bible says that it is jesus that ultimately has the keys to the pits and took them at the time of his sacrifice. I think I have that right but I could be wrong.
