As an electrical engineer, I would simply contrive [this is very easily done] a means to electrify the vehicle body so anyone touching it would receive a shock.

Besides protestors are usually over-stressed; that in itself causes heart attacks.

It is. Lived in my house 30 years. I park outside, wife in the garage. Nice white area where you can leave your car unlocked all night. Blacks moved in 3 houses down and within a week, charger and wireless headphones stolen out of my car along with a handful of change.
