The veteran (probably their BEST employee) was outted for wearing a MANDATED mask/neck scarf with an AMERICAN FLAG on it. What kind of a loser Communist would report him for that. |

Havelock is military town thru-n-thru' so am wondering if it was some out-of-towner going to or coming back from the beach. Am just dumbfounded by anyone living here in US who has a problem w/ our flag. I think anyone who's so fuckin' unhappy living here should leave and not let the screen door hit 'em on the ass on the way out. And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. That is what I call 'sustained incoherence.' ...David Bohm “How, O Zenobia, hast thou dared to insult Roman emperors?” ...Aurelian, 44th Emperor of the Roman Empire |

Well that would help explain why the store changed their policy from 'no words or symbols' to 'symbols of the American Flag' for which items can be worn while working in their store. I agree they should leave if they don't like it here but they hate their lives and won't be happy til everyone is as miserable as they are. |

Anyone coming from anywhere else n the world to the US, it's on you to adopt/adapt and learn how to not just survive but how to thrive. Not how to bring the baggage from your country of origin to your new home country. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I believe in what our Founding Fathers did and sacrificed in order to launch this new experiment of this new country. Maybe a few of 'em knew the true intentions of England and sought to give us in future generations the abilities to go AWOL and totally off the reservation in defiance of the elites. A few good folks tried but many paid the ultimate price w/ their lives and being silenced forever. Am so sad that a veteran in my home state had to make such a hard decision b/c someone was 'offended by the US flag.' But that does show folks that integrity always wins out. This whole cancel culture just sucks to high heaven. And a lot of us Patriots throw down the BS flag when it comes to shit like this supposed snowflake complaining to Food Lion about having to see the US flag on an employee's face who is a veteran and whom served in order to protect the very person bitching about the flag. Yeah. I'm an Army brat, I'm an old teacher who remembers when civics was taught in school and saw the steady progress of corruption infiltrate public education. The Weathermen Underground group never disbanded, they had kids and kept the 'plan' in place to take over education system to create the very shit we we today. Heaven help us. I say that while gazing at my framed Edmund Burke quote.... The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
