Funny in that my last post on another thread was how 23 is my lucky number. Very strange. My wisdom teeth began coming in back in HS, and they are only 90% in at 41yrs. From 16-30yrs they would hurt for a few days 3-4x a year, then the pain would go away. In my 40's they still sometimes hurt a bit for a day or two about 1-2x a year. Growing pains at 41yrs. My feet recently grew a half size too, and I have not gained a single pound. MAGA |

I have all of mine and yes my dentist was also surprised Never had any issues with them being left in I would say unless they get decayed and need to come out or cause headaches leave them alone |

Dentist told me, a while back that they would eventually become an issue and they wanted to extract them. But I just ignored them and everything is still fine. Quoting: Doc M same here, for decades. I got one removed for dental work to be done - it was wimpy, and might have fallen out eventually, but had caused ZERO problems. Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face – Thomas Sowell |

I've spent over $100k on dental work since then to keep my own teeth and avoid dentures. A full upper arch of implants and bridges cost me just under 70,000 and we're waiting to do the lowers next yes when my insurance resets. |

User ID: 27086723 United States 09/07/2020 05:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My upper wisdom teeth came in rotted. I had no choice but to pay $300 per tooth to have them removed. My lowers are still in my jaw and will stay there. Those who pay tens of thousands avoiding dentures are silly. My teeth were never good. Born with the bacteria that causes both tooth decay and hardened arteries. My teeth have been a source of extreme pain my entire life. I'm glad they're gone and I have dentures. I can eat without pain for the first time in my life. Sure it takes 2 or 3 months to get used to them and it hurts getting used to them. I won't lie and say it's easy, but it's definitely worth it. |

Two of my wisdom teeth had broken through and messing up my cheek somehow. As tiny as they were my check on the inside was all white and soar. Since they were there I had them take the other 2, didn't want to go through it again. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72528835 United States 10/09/2020 11:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | USarmy yanked all 4 of mine, a shot of novacane and two one day and two a week later. No insurance fraud, just pain. The dentist grabbed my chin with his hand and tucked the back of my head into his chest like a football. Grabbed a tooth with "pizza pan" holder pliers and pulled, ripped and rotated those suckers. I can still them being ripped from my jaw 40 years ago. About a minute for each tooth. I had tears coming from my eyes. I would not have gone through that if it wasn't necessary. The army would not have done it if it wasn't necessary. No insurance just pain. |
