End the rapture debate!
"And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be".
‐Son of God

Even Jesus testifies here that if there were a "pretrib rapture" it would be for the pregnant women and the infants...

but there is none, so woe to them!

I might buy that theory if Paul hadn't told the Thessalonians who thought they had missed it that he had already told them that the church would be removed before the antichrist, aka man of lawlessness, could be revealed.

And if Iraneus hadn't taught.

And if the Bible didn't teach clearly that the Body of Christ wasn't meant for wrath.

If the Bible didn't teach it, I would definitely believe it was a massive deception.

Believers are not meant for wrath. The wrath happens after the 6th seal.

Also Paul said we do not meet the Lord until after the man of lawness is revealed.

2Th 2:1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,

2Th 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

2 Thessalonians 2
King James Version
2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

The Trib is Jacob's Times of Trouble, seven years per book of Daniel. All of those seven years are wrath, as the Body of Christ, the restrainer, is removed and satan has free reign.

The falling away, long thought to be a falling away from the faith, is actually translated "departure" when looking at the original text. It is a reference to the harpazo.

The falling away is derived from apostasia. It does not mean departure.

In modern English it would be apostate.

a·pos·tate: a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle.

There sure are a lot of athiest now.

From Strongs KJV: apostasia: defection, revolt

Daniel 9:26-27 Shows a week (7 years possibly) but in the middle Christ is cut off.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

 Quoting: Achduke7

1Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,a 2not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessnessb is revealed, the son of destruction,c 4who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Nothing in here about a rapture... I see a reference to the war in heaven. Keep in mind, satan is thrown out if Heaven and gives his authority to the beast, the antichrist.... God's strong delusion that He sends to spit out the lukewarm!

Ever noticed end times movies by materialistic Christians MUST have the rapture in it? It's the big lie ppl will buy so when the Antichrist comes he can say, "How could I be the Antichrist? The rapture hasn't happened. Surely you nice good Christians would've left." Rapture tards will pat themselves on the backs n say damn he's right!

I agree with you. There is no biblical basis for the rapture, its just nonsense peddled by a certain sect of Christianity, IMHO. I dare not say more because there is a certain mod who just loves to ban me for my religious views.

Re: End the rapture debate!

You gotta give props for how effective that thoughtform is tho.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

2Th 2:1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,

Well 1Th 4:16 and 2Th 2:1 Are talking about the same event. The gathering to the Lord.

Where do you think the Rapture is in scripture?
