WITS allows the user to query trade statistics (export, import, re-exports and re-imports) from UN COMTRADE, tariff and non-tariff measures (NTM) data from UNCTAD TRAINS and tariff and bound tariff information from WTO, IDB[disambiguation needed] and CTS databases. WITS also has a module called Global Preferential Trade Agreement (GPTAD) to search and browse Free Trade Agreements (FTA) [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] vAv |

In the definition of this item at the top of the chart you shared in your link, it says 'covid-19 test kits/ Instruments, apparatus used in Diagnostic Testing' So I think they're saying in 2017 countries spent that much money buying things related to what can now be used or purposed for helping with covid-19 tests. |

That would be Covid17 Covid19 was in China where they shit themselves causing the run on toilent paper here. COVID 20 is the respiratory mutation we have now. Regardless, it is a fucking huge lie as it is nowhere near as deadly as they tried to hype it to be. If a shark ate you and they found your arm and the arm tested positive, you died from Covid, not the shark killing you. |

If you call up the website without the /nomen/h5/ subdirectories, you get the same data, but the description of the product is different [link to wits.worldbank.org (secure)] The question is: why do they need to list the same data under “Covid19 test kits” in 2017, and actually in every year since then?? Makes absolutely no sense! Last Edited by vAv on 09/06/2020 04:29 PM vAv |

So here is what I think that happened. The Website uses the WCO/WHO database to connect product and classification number, once WCO changed the names for the numbers, it was just changed for every Item in the database, thus making old purchases adapt to the new name, which was only given in spring 2020. |
