UPDATE!! California And Oregon Residents Describe Apocalyptic Landscapes As Wildfires Rage!! | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 3549768 United States 09/06/2020 09:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ******** I have a Storm App that says it’s currently 109 degrees in Lake Arrowhead, California. It was 114 yesterday at about 4:30 pm & hotter than parts of Arizona!! I am convinced they are using atmospheric heaters or technology to fuel their Globalist Fire Agendas!! The usual temperature patterns between the California Coast & local Mountains in comparison to the Arizona desert is way off ! This is so blatantly extreme that it’s absolutely creepy! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78085218 United States 09/06/2020 09:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The temperatures alone are not really a threat, OP. They are only a threat if the high heat also contains high humidity. Otherwise this is just more of a high desert heat. Do you hear the Middle Eastern Muslims complaining that it is hot every day? You are so stupid. High heat means no humidity which means increased fire risk. Exactly. High humidity would be worse for the elderly - if all we were talking about was the impact heat has on our bodies. In SoCal, the heat is a problem more because of extreme fire danger + illnesses from smoke inhalation. Massive amounts of dead brush is everywhere. It's not like the middle east or Arizona, where plants never have much of a chance to grow in the first place. There are massive forests in Arizona and lots of stuff grows even in the desert, but you're right that desert plants usually don't burn. Arizona is a fire danger too though. The largest stand of ponderosa pine in the world is in Arizona. They have large fires. In 2002, 468,638 acres burned in one fire |

I would post it here, but I don't know how to embed the image. I believe the face was a warning. It looks 3D, and was really big. Quoting: ambermink ***** I believe it... I’ve seen them too. They look quite demonic & evil. |

I have lived through 110+F Summer days where the humidity was over 80%. This was years ago though. Such moderate to high humidity days in the Summer is fairly normal for those of us here in North Texas. Now enjoy being put in your lowly place, AC. As for you, FivelCubed, such smoke in the air would not be bad just for the elderly, but everyone else in the affected area(s) as well. Who the fuck cares where you are from in redneck Texas. You don't know these foothills. You have zero idea of the terrain and what these temps and low humidity means. We are socked in from smoke. Go fuck yourself. The temperatures alone are not really a threat, OP. They are only a threat if the high heat also contains high humidity. Otherwise this is just more of a high desert heat. Do you hear the Middle Eastern Muslims complaining that it is hot every day? What a stupid comment. The Muslims grew up in that weather and are accustomed to it. Do you get the difference? Jeez, you two... Such rampant stupidity from the both of you. Very tragic for the both of you. Have a nice day, you two! Southern California is a desert that should have never evolved into such a populated area. There is nothing weird about a heatwave every few years. John Muir was warning about this 150 years ago before the state was even built. Many people wanted to make 90% of California especially all the coast a national heritage area but money talks. California is a non sustainable place. Northern California is far more livable and ironically unpopular because it has more normal 4 season type weather and it's wet damp and cold in winter. |

The problem with Southern California is that the Los Angeles metro area/basin has to pull water, by hook or crook, from virtually every other part of the state in order to keep everyone's lawn watered and swimming pool filled. In particular, the LADWP has raped the Eastern Sierra watershed to this end and created a widely ignored ecological disaster zone. California is the greatest U.S. state IMO, but like any other place on Earth, it's only "sustainable" if you as a resident can live within the geographic/climatological realities of the place. I agree. It's messed up what we've allowed to happen in CA, growth-wise. And if we're going to be robbing our neighbors of their water, the use of that water should be for crops and habitations, but not for useless luxury stuff like lawns and (largely unused) swimming pools. |

How did those people live through the summer heat? the heat must have killed off a large percentage of the people in the US EVERY SUMMER!! How did the human race in the United States survive in those times before AC and back when nearly 30% of all children died before they reached 10 years of age? In addition OBVIOUSLY they should NEVER have let those children back then to go to school, EVER, ... it was WAY TOO DANGEROUS, as shown by the high death rates of those children!! SAVE THE CHILDREN (so what if they can't read, write, or do arithmetic ... at least they will be SAVED!! |

Just because it’s hot in LA in the summer doesn't mean the whole globe is getting warmer. Also, both arctic and antarctic are adding lots of ice and snow pack this year. That's because it's not "global warming" but climate change we are facing. The first term is a simplification, while the second term is our reality. ~~*NOT* a very nice kitty!~~ "Plan for the worst, hope for the best, and don't live in fear." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72124954 United States 09/06/2020 11:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | An intense heat wave broiled large swaths of California this Labor Day weekend, shattering numerous records, causing thousands to lose power and fueling several brush fires that were threatening communities from Yucaipa to the Sierra foothills. Quoting: Digital mix guy Forecasters had predicted historic high temperatures, and they were proved right. Dozens of communities set records Saturday, and a few appeared to record all-time highs, according to the National Weather Service. In Woodland Hills, the mercury climbed to 117 degrees by 3 p.m., making it the hottest day ever recorded there in September, breaking the record of 115 set in 1979. Burbank reached 113, tying its monthly record set in 1971. Van Nuys hit 115. The mercury soared even higher to the east, with Palm Springs hitting 122 and Indio 121. Officials said at least three areas tied or topped all-time record highs: Alpine (113), El Cajon (114) and Idyllwild (103). The weather service said Burbank appeared to tie an all-time record at 114 degrees. [link to www.latimes.com (secure)] wow ... 122F ... to survive that without air-conditioning I guess you have to stay in shade and keep dousing yourself with water getting close to being uninhabitable in the summer what must temperatures in Mexico be ? wow high in Mexico City today was only about 74F, weird There is your answer, SOCAL is melting from volcanic heat and will soon be ejected into orbit to become a 2nd Moon. |

He got super aggressive whacking everything even remotely close to structures. Almost my entire acreage is cleaned to the dirt. The amount of acreage is unreal. The Creek fire could end up being one of the fastest growing in history. Now close to 75,000 acres in just over 48 hours. |
