They have the death penalty, which is a big violation against human rights anyway. They will not give the death penalty to him, but every country that has this punishment in their justice system, should get a clear no from the start. This is not the middle age anymore

Worst case: DoJ punts yet again and Court keeps Assange gagged and imprisoned with no trial in sight, leaving it up to a hopeful Trump pardon one day.

Defense has just moved to adjourn the proceedings. Cites need to gather evidence and review new charges, saying that Julian is the one who suffers if they cannot.

Julian's team says, in relation to their move to adjourn; that a new document just came to light that they were not provided before, and that it could potentially attract its own conviction. No word yet on what this information is.
