Companies like PG&E and SCE floated bonds to cover the cost of the overpriced power and passed those costs on to their customers. There is a charge on each monthly bill for 'our share' of those costs due to those companies mortgaging our future without our consent. If I decide to leave PG&E and go off-grid, they will still charge me a 'departing load' fee every month so that I can pay 'my share' of their fuckup. If I ask them what 'my share' is or when it will be paid off, They have no idea. Bastards.
