I can attest to that as I spent 30 days in regent ND in the brutal winter , selling an AN/MST-1 MuTES system to the air force for practice bombing runs by B1 &B2 bombers. Every morning on the way to work from Dickinson ND, where our hotel was... to the job site, we'd pass dozens of dead cows in the fields from overnight freezing. Once we got to work though and warmed the transmitters and control cab up, we'd head out to watch a steady stream of bombers flying out of Barksdale AFB Louisiana, across the country and come in at 500 feet for practice bombing runs on our site. That warmed us up quick. What truly sucked though was the only bar in town was bring your own beer so we'd go to Montanta after work and buy a couple cases and take back to ND for drinking in the bar. Quite fucked up, to say the least.
