My conclusion: The mark of the beast has to be an identifying mark that can clearly identify each unique person. Using some type of number or code most likely using a form of new technology involving codes, and once placed, can not be removed. Once you have this mark, you belong and are owned by the ones whose mark is now permanently on your body and thus, you can no longer be owned by God. It will be taken specifically into the right hand or forehead, and will prove that as a form of belonging or ownership and give a particular type of value or worth. We know that nobody will be able to buy/sell/trade or be part of society without this identifying mark. We know that all who take this “mark” will worship and be part of the beast system. The mark will control the person who has it and they will no longer have freedom to choose right from wrong because all who have the mark worship the beast.
