My house is prob gonna get eaten by one of those fires... Yes it's burning through fields and woods fast. Would be crazy to see these towns burn but its right at its edge

You do realize it actually works in reducing the strength and size of a fire. Indians in the area I live used to burn the forests every year which resulted in all dead fall and undergrowth being burned away. That lowers the fuel on the ground and forest destroying crown fires can never get going. In Norway they actually go through the woods and clear or rake all the dead fall and litter resulting in a much lower fire hazard. Where I live many are clearing and raking the grounds around homes to help reduce the hazard of a hot strong fire. So the idea is no joke but im guessing you dont live in a region where wild fire is a concern or you would not be so ignorant

Had to evacuate earlier this year, not fun. Pack your car with what's important to you and basic supplies. I stayed in a caravan park til it was safe to return home. Shit situation, all the best OP
