You do realize it actually works in reducing the strength and size of a fire. Indians in the area I live used to burn the forests every year which resulted in all dead fall and undergrowth being burned away. That lowers the fuel on the ground and forest destroying crown fires can never get going. In Norway they actually go through the woods and clear or rake all the dead fall and litter resulting in a much lower fire hazard. Where I live many are clearing and raking the grounds around homes to help reduce the hazard of a hot strong fire. So the idea is no joke but im guessing you dont live in a region where wild fire is a concern or you would not be so ignorant

Yep. Stopped doing it because of the green hippies and wanting to put more money in their own pockets. I get they are started with malicious intent but they wouldn't be so damn out of control if they did what they should and keep it clean with controlled burns.
