What was your experience on the morning of 9-11-2001 ?

I was in NJ — 15 and a freshman in HS. I remember I was in Wood Shop class and the teacher told us that a plane hit one of the buildings in NYC. I was thinking it was the Empire State Building and that a small plane hit it on accident. When I went on the computer in the class, I saw it was the WTC. After that, all the classes had the TV News on or the radio station playing newscasts. The principal told students to reach out to their parents because a majority of them worked in the WTC. I will never forget watching the people jump out of the towers. That was the surreal moment that got me terrified. I don’t think anyone at the time saw people jumping out of buildings that tall in the whole world. Throughout the afternoon, all we would hear is fire/emergency sirens heading towards the Parkway North to assist with NYC. The weather that day was beautiful. Blue skies and mid 80s. Sadly, the weather wouldn’t fit what occurred that day. We could see the smoke from across the Atlantic Ocean standing from the beach where we were located.

I had just returned to the US from living in Japan for 8 years about 2o days before this happened. I remember I was getting the kids ready for school and the news we were watching at the time cut to it. We were shocked but not to bad and continued with our business. When the second one hit, it was just pure disbelief! I remember hearing my hubby on the phone with his Mom in Japan telling her this country is at war! It was kind of a feeling of welcome home to America, now go back to Japan! We stayed here though and I am glad we did.

I was 15 years old got kicked out of high school and had to go to what they call an 'alternative school ' for kids who got into trouble. Walked in the school with my mom and the staff had wheeled out a cart with a tv on it and I saw the second plane hit live. The staff was in shock and some were crying. I didn't have to stay they let everyone out for the day. It was a Tuesday,clear blue sky, the weather had just started to change here in Texas (weather was getting cooler) it was a beautiful day but it was marred by the ugliness of that event and here we are 20 years later.

Some might. But the truth is most of us don't feel that way and would actually like to see cities like New York and others become decent places to live in and visit again.

I live in Texas too, I was out painting the trim of my house the day after.

A blue helicopter with a spray boom on it flew over my house twice, they were spraying *something* over my town.. Considering the threats I got the day before needless to say I was upset, especially considering civilian air traffic had all been grounded.

Woke up on the west coast and saw the news report on the first plane as the second tower was hit ... the range of emotions throughout the day were firsts in alot of ways !!

I am in structural steel construction and knew that the laws of physics were broken by their official reporting ... have never been able too look at the world the same ever since ... It's all so flimsy and fake and the fuckers at the root of it should burn at the stake !!

I remember seeing pictures and names of the hijackers within hours of the towers being hit and thinking, "ReallY? Gee, that was quick." Then the whole thing got fishier from there.

I was in high school, taking my usual nap after completing my assignments in my Advanced English course. I was dreaming, and in my dream I saw, from the cockpit of a jet, Eddie Murphy as the Nutty Professor flying the plane. Eddie Murphy as Buddy Love was standing behind him, saying "You can't fly a plane, Clarence!" Through the windshield I saw the Twin Towers.

I awoke abruptly as the plane connected with Tower 1. The dream was incredibly vivid, so much so that I tapped the classmate near me on the shoulder and told him about the dream. "A plane DID just hit the World Trade Center. The announcement was just made over the intercom."

I sat in complete shock, amazed at my prophetic vision and collected myself; I must have heard the announcement and produced the dream in real time. When the bell rang I headed to my next course, History. 2 of my professors had pulled a TV into the room and were watching the news. I pulled a chair to the front of the class and sat there in amazement. I could not believe that something like this could occur. As I watched, listening to reports of what had occurred, a second plane flew into the camera's view. I watched in horror as the second plane smashed into WTC2, screamed to gather the attention of my classmates.

Everyone began to talk, trying to make sense of what they'd seen. But that was just the beginning. As the first and then second tower collapsed my mind began to race. How could this happen? How could 2 jet impacts cause the towers to fall at a free-fall speed? I immediately understood that the buildings had been demolished, but for what purpose I could not fathom.

I went home after school and turned on MTV, where continued coverage was on repeat. I recorded every angle on VHS and watched over and over through the night, rewinding and replaying, trying to make sense of it all. I could not wrap my head around the narrative that was being presented. When Loose Change was released I must have been one of the first people to see it, certainly the first person that I knew. The revelations within shook me, and it was at that moment that my entire life's culminated questioning about the world burst into a sprint. I became a "truther," a "conspiracy theorist" overnight, and to this day I will stand firm that, whatever happened, the official reports were as far from the truth as my Eddie Murphy theory.

It was the end of my innocence and the beginning of this timeline which I find myself in, a world where nothing is real and everything is up for debate, but each debate just leads back to nothing.

I don't believe I will ever learn the truth.

I had woken up that morning with a feeling of gloom
And doom I went into work that day with anxiety and dread and it got so bad I was physically ill, I talk to a friend and tried to explain but he brushed it off thinking I was just depressed. later that morning, when I went to the break room the tv was showing the attack on the world trade center 9-11 and then about two years later I found out I had a distant relative that got killed in the trade towers that day...

Had a weird feeling something big would happen that day, never had it before or since.

I was at the top of the tower exactly a year earlier within a day or so doing the tourist thing.
