We have hundreds of friends in the entertainment industry that have NOT received 1-cent from FUBAR-Unemployment. All of these entertainers including our family, had at-least six months or more in savings which has been slowly depleted. The point now is: Do I pay my mortgage/rent or feed my family.

DO NOT believe the housing market propaganda. The market is going down like the Titanic.... worse than 2008. The evictions and foreclosures are coming,will probably start showing up more and more towards the end of October.

Right now tonight? No, not that I noticed driving up the strip today, just low rent tourists. North Premium outlets was a ghost town, no shoppers, so no one with money is in town. The videos were from Labor Day weekend. I drove the strip once that day and it was like south-side Chicago demographics, with loud grab assing I could hear from my car, and lots of fat black women drunk walking the BLVD. I knew it was going to be a rough night, but didn't go near there after dark.

What's left on the strip is like just trashy tourists here for the low rates. The line at the LV sign today looked like a crowd from the land of misfit toys..

You really do not know much about the LV area. Major and successful efforts have been made for decades to diversify the economy.

Due to a business-friendly tax structure, many large corporations have moved into southern Nevada--including manufacturing. Clark County has about 2 million people in it. Maybe 6% is directly tied to the casinos.

If the hotels shut down tomorrow it would still be a bad thing--very bad. However, LV is a million miles away from turning into a ghost town. It would still be better off than most metro areas in the USA.

But keep on blabbing about things you know nothing of.

I had not considered thaT. The "house" only has a 1 to 3 percent advantage for table games and maybe 7% on the slots. It does not sound like much but it is. The thing is, those are the odds for people that have a clue of what they are doing--you know, people that can think.
