I realized God is not answering my prayers a long time ago. Life is brutal.

But you are not here to have an easy life, God tests us to grow and evolve to become better people.

Contentment breeds complacence.

The mystery is to remember. Faith wouldn't be called "faith" if it didn't get tested. You need to let go of the fairy tale in your head of what God is, the purpose isn't to be happy it is to be self-less. As in no self, the NOBODY. To let go of all you preconceived notions of "happiness".
