I realized God is not answering my prayers a long time ago. Life is brutal.
But you are not here to have an easy life, God tests us to grow and evolve to become better people.
Contentment breeds complacence.
The mystery is to remember. Faith wouldn't be called "faith" if it didn't get tested. You need to let go of the fairy tale in your head of what God is, the purpose isn't to be happy it is to be self-less. As in no self, the NOBODY. To let go of all you preconceived notions of "happiness".
Read the story of Job in the bible and then read it again.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78665101 What God let satan do to job is horrible. There’s no justification. Yeah so job got some property and live stock back at the end. Guess what his kids r still dead. God is a monster or doesn’t exist and it’s only the devil. Evidence points to that. Seems to be the case unfortunately.
