The UK Medicines Health Regulatory Authority (MHRA) are over-seeing the clinical trial of AstraZeneca's vaccine:

So far, two volunteers have developed symptoms of transverse myelitis!

The UK Medicines Health Regulatory Authority (MHRA) have dismissed one case as MS related even though transverse myelitis can lead to MS.

Also, the MHRA have yet to comment on the second case but allowed AstraZeneca to proceed anyway.
