Raining and blowing pretty good here now. So far, this looks like we’re staying, but I’m gonna talk with the wife when she gets up. I’ve seen a lot worse than this ten times a year in Birmingham with the spring storms, but they say it’s gonna get worse. Nobody in my condo complex a couple miles north of the beach is leaving.

We evacuated one car to Foley, which is about 79 feet elevation, yesterday, and my car is at ground level. We’re surrounded by deep drainage ditches so I’m keeping a a close eye on those. If they start to fill up, we’re going to get off the island. I lived in trussville when ivan hit. My house was destroyed. Had to live in an apartment. Ivan was brutal. I'm under ground in my bunker now. Nothing can get short of a sniper. Live and learn Tornadoes were everywhere with ivan
