Another yawner of the storm.

The most interesting thing about it is its slow forward speed.

Cat 1 hurricanes defoliate trees and snap branches.

Don't stand under a tree and you'll be fine.

If you live near a creek, stream, river or any other body of water prone to a flash flood, seek higher ground and you'll be fine.

Cat 1 hurricanes...pfffffffffft!

They spay these things called tornadoes. Well I've never yawned in one but I guess its possible.

Yeah, they do spit out tornadoes. That's true.

But hurricane twisters are more like water spouts. Not much power behind them, but enough to remove a roof or collapse a wall.

I've never heard of a Cat 1 hurricane spawning a F3, F4, or F5. Have anyone else?
