Its harvesting season here Simple. This could turn out bigger than the storm damage if we loose half our crops. Alabama is a huge producer of vegetables and fruits. A lot of cotton as well.

Checking in from Gulf Shores where it now looks like we’re gonna get the eye. We’ve had about four inches of rain and so far so good. They’ve got some flooding south of us but nothing catastrophic. Neighbors don’t seem concerned as there are more cars in our parking lot than I’ve seen in my 11 days here.

I bought a power bank model PC3 as a backup power supply for my devices. This thing is huge and you can charge 2 devices at once. Now it takes 2 days to charge but its rock solid. I think I paid 30 or 35 for it. Best investment in a long time.

Wind forecast have dropped from 100 to 80mph. But the rain has increased from 24" to 30" for the whole Alabama coast.

The panhandle and Alabama coast is going to be bad af far as rain fall.

Done with my come to Jesus moment up on the roof during the hurricane. Caught a lull between bands, got a ladder up and put about 15 screws in that rotten flashing metal I was fussing about earlier. It was pouring rain but I got her done from end to end and got down from there right before the wind kicked up again.
