The guiding track system has shifted east. The slow moving track over the next 48 hours will result in historic flooding for south Alabama and the panhandle.

I live in the panhandle near Pensacola. They closed the 3 mile bridge they've been working on. Today a barge rammed into it. But so far, no thunder or lightening, just on and off rain where I'm at.

They must be flogging the voltage to the Mobile radar site. Looks like ripples in a pond around the transmitter in this screen grab of the radar loop. I am guessing that is what it is. (???)

The west side of a hurricane is always a lot weaker than the east side of a hurricane.

Now that hurricanes sit still on the coast for days. Expect tornadoes to do the same soon.
