Wind forecast have dropped from 100 to 80mph. But the rain has increased from 24" to 30" for the whole Alabama coast.
The panhandle and Alabama coast is going to be bad af far as rain fall.
Quoting: Bush Master Another day (20-some hours) of rain yet before landfall, plus a second day of rain after landfall - trees will fall, lights will go out, dunes will wash out to sea. Gulf Shores AL looks nasty right now for a Cat 1. Amazing to watch a tropical system with little steering, hence the crawl. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78689367 Now that hurricanes sit still on the coast for days. Expect tornadoes to do the same soon. HAAP says it all.
