Hurricane Paulette went right over 20 mile-wide Bermuda island this morning. Paulette's eye was 40 miles-wide. Fascinating times these are.  Bermuda is 14 miles long and 1 mile wide... the biggest island. If it's still there. Amazing... can't even imagine.  I got a different number. Matters little though. I found it fascinating that the entire island (main island) got the eye - what's the odds of that?? (Bermuda is approximately 21 miles long and 1.75 miles wide at its widest point.)
