Californians have been paying through the nose for many years to combat "man-made" global warming --

high income and sales taxes to support public transit;

exorbitant gas and electric rates to pay for wind and solar power;

tax subsidies for Tesla and other electric and hybrid vehicles;

soaked for billions for the high-speed rail debacle;

ridiculous vehicle registration fees to subsidize Tesla and other electric and hybrid vehicles;

crushing federal taxes on incomes, investments and other 1099 stuff;

in other words, we've paid billions to halt "man-made" global warming, so why is it still going on????

If the government was halfway competent, they would have used all that money to stop and reverse the warming. And yet it's still going on.

In the summer and fall, there are fires. In the winter, heavy rain and floods. Everything gets blamed on global warming.

I get the feeling that the fleecing of hard-working people will never end and neither will "man-made" global warming.

Why doesn't everyone realize that there is no "man-made" warming? It's a frigging natural cycle. Can't we put all that money to use in the free market so we can begin to make necessary adjustments? Instead, there's no money left to actually help people because the government has sucked it all up for boondoggles and graft for pet projects that aren't helping now that the warming is starting up big time.
