I dug a bit deeper into the Finnish Covid-19 statistics. [ link to thl.fi (secure)] A total of 339 people have died of causes attributed to Covid-19. The definition for a Covid-19 death is as follows: " It is estimated that COVID-19 has been involved in the chain of events leading to the death, if the patient has died within one month of testing positive." So, if the immediate cause of death was a heart attack but the patient has been tested positive for Covid-19 within a month, the death will be attributed to Covid-19. It is near-impossible to give an exact cause of death anyway. If someone dies of a heart attack, do you attribute it to a fault in heart's electrical circuit, blocked veins, vagus-nerve or something else. Cause of death is always more or less a guess. ostensibly, all of these people who are under observation and treatment are exhibiting the symptoms of Covid-19. but, even with a population of only 5 Million, three hundred and some such is still a pretty low number of deaths.
