I just watched that too. 100% that's what she said. The Chinese government intentionally released this virus which was created in the lab.  And it infects almost no one, most people who get it don't know until they're tested and people die with it but not from it. I think China wants to create as much confusion as possible and the bioweapon narrative is more Chinese propaganda. The Chinese want the U.S. public to think it's a real virus and that the "powerful" CCP is unleashing dangerous bioweapons. THAT is entirely possible, but for now I will just assume she's telling the truth and has good motives.
