The backbone of the virus is owned by the Chinese Military. The manipulations she alleges were done by Chinese researchers in the past. She names them and cites their published findings.

Established patterns of intents prove intent. If it benefits the US to take out Communist China before China can be an effective adversary of the US, that's all the evidence needed. Might makes right. Strong survive in a Darwinian world. My problem is nothing has changed, she has given us nothing we did not already know and all of a sudden the members here are foaming at the mouth for retaliation. That's a good enough reason for me. If there is retaliation in the cards for China it won't be based on proof beyond all reasonable doubt China hit us with a bio weapon. That will be just icing on the cake and the straw that broke the camel's back. China is an adversary of the United States. That's the issue.
