I dont believe that poll. People are concern but pissed on drastic measures. I personally do not know anyone that has covid or any of my relatives.

What a joke. 1,000 people is much too small of a sample size to generalize it to the population at large.

What this really means is that only 750 people out of the 1,000 polled agree that another lockdown is warranted. But as a proportion of Canada’s population, 750 people amount to just 0.0000202%. And this means the poll is worthless as a gauge for assessing real public sentiment.

The media are such lying scum. It’s too bad that most people in Canada lack the cognitive capacity to understand simple statistics and why they can be so deceptive if misinterpreted.

Plus people most likely to answer the phone and have time to do a survey don't work so they don't care if it all is shut down again. I used to do market research and we tended to get a lot of old people, disabled and students wanting to take surveys and those people generally don't work or only work part time. People that work full time don't have time to sit down and answer questions so these market research surveys tend to be skewed in their demographics.
