I'm still working, but the Rush & Alice in Chains are keeping me rockin'!

As it is now, I'm going for such long periods of time, I kick my flip flops off and jack my left leg up into the seat and tuck the foot under my right thigh, my knee on the arm rest.....heh, I'm already getting kinda sideways.


I know I must sound like a nightmare driver, but I'm a most requested driver....because damn good driver. And I play the best music, I'm told. I mean, I don't know how many accidents I've avoided now, crap flying off of trucks...and animals.... a bird killed itself on my windshield this week. I had to wipe feathers off of it. Jeebus. That's the sixth one that's died on my windshield now, in less than five years.

....more birds have died on my Escape than I've gotten tickets in my Escape.

I just really don't like doing the speed limit out in the middle of the desert....or apparently when coming off a pass, either. Heh, I was slowing down before he pulled me over. He was nice, though....so, yeah.

One cop was yelling at me so much all I could do was ask him not to be so mad at me....I was close to cowering. He could've given me three tickets, but I only got one.... I'm a lucky infractioner. I ALWAYS have caught a break.


It's all so funny NOW, though, now that I'm thinking of the times I've gotten pulled over.....

One time I popped out of the car, yelling, "Are you REALLY going to give me a ticket?"

He put his hand on his gun. I got back in my car. He wasn't happy with me....but fucking speed trap, in Cloudcroft. Cloudcroft cops....they have nothing better to do.

And really, I do always want to ask them where they are when they're REALLY needed, like when some fool is up on my ass....and I'm already five over and boxed in!


But my gawd, I do LOVE my job......:cgdrift:


I do have to watch my speed until the year is done, though....
